Mr. Gunga is a seed systems specialist with passion in efforts towards delivery of quality improved seed to subsistence farmers in sub-Saharan Africa. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in seed systems development in sub-Saharan Africa, accumulated over the last twenty years in various roles in seed regulatory affairs, breeding and selection as well as business development support services to young indigenous seed companies in Eastern, Southern and West Africa. He provides technical support for capacity building of SSG grantee seed companies in quality seed production and business development.
