Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Technical University of Mombasa and a Diploma in DevOps engineering from Moringa School.

Michael was part of the team that innovated the universal vaccination and immunization system (UVIS) that won E-connected summit Award in 2018.

He has over 6 years’ experience in software development, data collection and analysis as well as digital literacy implementation, having worked as a software developer and Data Manager at Better Globe Forestry and Data/ICT assistant at ICT Authority. He previously worked as a Data Manager for Mountain Fresh, a food and beverage company in Central Kenya.
